What's Required for Gas Line Work in New York

In New York State, gas piping work must be performed by a licensed master plumber. The work requires a permit and final inspection by your local building department. We handle the permit application, scheduling, and inspection coordination — you don't need to manage any of that.

Gas Line Materials: What We Use and Why

We install Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing (CSST) for most residential applications — it's flexible, easier to route through walls and floors, and highly durable. For exposed sections and older homes where traditional black iron is required by code or local authority, we use threaded black iron pipe. We never use galvanized pipe for new gas installations — galvanization can flake and cause blockages over time.
